3D Printlife is delighted to announce the appearance of vanguard
artist and designer Justin LeBlanc, Project Runway design finalist for Fall
2013.
Justin has a Masters of Design in Fashion, Body, &
Garment from The Art Institute of Chicago.
Prior to that, Justin studied architecture at North Carolina State
University, where he currently teaches design. His professional career has taken him from the
studios of Alexander McQueen to Nick Cave and ultimately to the runway with Tim
Gunn, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and
Heidi Klum.
3D printing has been integral in Justin’s design and made a
large impact during the competition on Project Runway. Justin comments, “My training in
architecture, fashion and art allows me to exploit and fuse different
approaches, resulting in artistic expressions which cannot be conveyed by one
discipline alone.”
Breathtaking fashions and 3D printed accessories from
Justin’s recent Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week collection will be on display as
Justin talks about how 3D printing inspires him and has been incorporated into
his designs. Justin will give his
insights into what the future of fashion and 3d printing will hold and be
available for Q & A.
Come meet Justin at 3D Printlife’s booth at CES 2014, Las
Vegas, Nevada, Friday, January 10th from 11am to 2pm.
